Miniatures

Making miniatures is another of my hobbies which I thought I would share as a bit of fun. I love to create things which I would like to have or do in real life!! I built this miniature room with one of my own paintings of Perranporth in the background. It was one week when I was stuck at home with covid and I really fancied a holiday!

There is nothing better than playing string quartets! Making music with old friends and escaping into the dream of harmonies and melodies from centuries past. This mini room is based on a friend's garden room where we regularly meet to play quartets.

I did all the artwork for this miniature exhibition!

Long summer holidays reading in a teepee made from Liberty fabric- in miniature, of course!!

I wanted to capture this bride taking one last look before she leaves her childhood home forever.

I imagine a studio with views looking out over the Purbecks in Dorset, just like this one!

I created another exhibition in miniature, this time mini paintings of Dorset and the Jurassic coast.

I love history and imagining what it might have been like to have been a child when my grandparents were young.

Maybe not fit for a king and I only made one of the cakes!!
